SHELL Mild steel welded construction fabricated with thick gauge sheets. Reinforcements of rolled steel sections of angles and channels provided. Constructed as a self-supporting structure to be placed on the shop floor directly. DOOR Thick gauge mild steel sheet construction with reinforcement and insulation. Suitable guide, sealing and locking arrangements provided to prevent heat leakage. Door will be placed on the back of the Bogie. INSULATION AND REFRACTORY LINING. SIDES, FRONT & REAR 1st layer - IS-8 load bearing bricks - 75 mm. 2nd layer - Hot face insulation bricks - 115 mm. 3rd layer - Cold face insulation bricks - 115 mm. BOTTOM / BOGIE INSULATION Ist layer - IS-8 load bearing bricks - 75 mm. 2nd layer - Hot face insulation bricks - 115 mm. 3rd layer - Cold face insulation bricks - 115 mm. BOGIE Thick gauge mild steel fabrication suitably reinforced and insulated. Bogie will be provided with wheels beneath to facilitate movement. Bogie will move on rails provided inside the furnace chamber, as well as out side to a length sufficient enough to draw the bogie out completely. Operation - Manual. HEATING ELEMENTS KANTHAL â D spiral coiled type. Directly operating on supply voltage. Designed to operate on safe low surface load to ensure longer element life. Location along sides of furnace chamber for its entire height and length. CONTROLS Self standing metal sheet fabricated housing all electrical switch gear and control instruments. Wiring will be done prior to dispatch. On - Off type digital indicating Temperature controller Cr.Al. Thermocouple with compensating Cable. Air brake magnetic contactors for heaters TERMINALS AND CONNECTIONS The stranded ends will have twice the cross section of the heating element wire. Terminals taken out through refractory tube on to heat cum insulation frame. Interconnection by means of electrolytic bare copper wire insulated with ceramic beads. EXCLUSIONS 1. All civil works including foundation. 2. Cables and cabling between panel to furnace and panel to your distribution board. 3. All rail inside and out side of the furnace. 4. Compensating lead wire above 5 mtrs. for thermocouple. 5. All utilities required. 6. Any other items not mentioned specifically in this offer.
